Fundraising for St John South Island

Papanui, Christchurch

Graham Condon Recreation & Sport Centre Christchurch is fundraising for St John with a 24 hour swim challenge and we are inviting the local community and swimming clubs to help.

Between midday on Saturday 3rd September and midday Sunday 4th September Graham Condon will have dedicated lanes with people swimming in them for the duration of the challenge. We have invited all local swim clubs and swimmers to participate. We will attempt to swim 20,000 lengths or 500km of Graham Condon pool. 500 km is slightly more than the drive from Christchurch to Queenstown.

Along with the public and our community, the swimmers all appreciate the lifesaving services provided by St John and know that fundraising is vital to the organization. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5000 for St John to support their important work in the community.
