The girls from Geraldine have joined together to compete in the New Plymouth Half Ironman in support of the Catwalk Trust.

Spinal Cord Injuries can happen to anyone at any time, instantly changing lives. I saw this when my dearest lifetime friend, Catriona Williams, gorgeous, intelligent, high achieving, hard working, superstar equestrian had a fall from a horse, broke her neck and instantly became a tetraplegic.
I have seen how challenging life in a wheelchair can be. Cat and others like her deal with Everest type challenges everyday which is why competing in this ironman for the Catwalk Trust is so important to me.
Formed by Catriona and a dynamic group of incredible friends 'The Catwalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust' has a purpose of raising money to fund research to ensure that there is a cure for SCI. Meaning people suffering Spinal cord injuries will not face a lifetime confined to a wheelchair.
Catriona is an inspiration, making it a privilege for Andy 'swim like a fish' Morrison, Peg 'cycle like the wind' Wood and me, Sarah 'slow and steady Eddie' Wilson to be competing alongside her and the other fabulous athletes in the New Plymouth Half Ironman. Please support us by donating to Catwalk.
We are involved because we love a wee challenge, totally support the Catwalk Trust and when we heard that Catriona was competing in the half ironman as an individual, it was very hard to come up with a reason why not!
