Let's raise $10k in 10 weeks for Gumboot Friday!
Kerikeri, Northland
In 2020, in Aotearoa 119 young people died by suicide and it is estimated another 3,100 tried to take their own lives. While Government agencies are doing their best, some kids are stuck waiting up to six months to receive the counselling they so urgently need. I AM HOPE is the youth and community focused support group run by The Key to Life Charitable Trust, started by Mike King. For the last three years Key To Life have been promoting positive attitudinal societal change in schools and communities up and down the country, and funding private care and counselling for young people stuck-in-the-mud on waiting lists.
GUMBOOT FRIDAY is back for 2022, and Harcourts Bay of Islands has set a goal of raising $10,000 in 10 weeks with our local community. We want to spread awareness of how the youth in our community are affected by mental health, and that there is ALWAYS help available.
Join us, to help raise $10k in 10 weeks for Gumboot Friday!
