Young New Zealanders currently face long wait times for funded face-to-face counselling.

Nationwide

Young New Zealanders currently face long wait times for funded face-to-face counselling. The I AM HOPE service is designed to take the pressure off and give young people an alternative pathway to professional help. Gumboot Friday is an initiative created by I AM HOPE and fronted by New Zealand television personality and comedian Mike King. It gives New Zealanders a fun way to join the conversation around better psychological health and is an opportunity to raise money so that young people get free and fast access to counselling when they need it most. Beca recognises that many of us know of young people that are struggling to get the support they need and we would love to support this wonderful charity
