Our son, Hadley was born with a rare skin condition which typically affects skin, hair, teeth and nails - but in his case it has also severely affected his eyesight and hearing.
Having faced so many challenges in his life, it is incredible to see the joy Hadley gets from riding his horse ‘Rein’ at Tauranga RDA. It is a highlight each week and it has increased his confidence hugely. He loves seeing his coach Michelle, all the volunteers and his riding buddies, and chats away happily to them while riding.
Tauranga RDA is an amazing service full of incredible staff and volunteers who make such a difference in childrens’ lives. We are so grateful for all they do, and want to do what we can to help them continue to provide such an essential service.

Relay day 6 November 2023
Hadley really enjoyed taking part in the relay on Saturday! It was a beautiful day for it. He rode his horse Rein, inside, then through the car park and all the way out to the back paddocks of RDA. He was so excited he literally talked the whole half hour to his coach and horse leader!! It was amazing to be a part of helping RDA to raise some much needed funds - thank you so much again to you all for your contributions and support. We appreciate it so much! 😊🙏🐴
