Half Marathon for Brain Cancer Families

Raising money for the trust by completing a half marathon in honour of my dad Russell McCarthy d.24-9-20

Auckland

In 2019, my dad Russell was diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. In September that year 26 of our family members were sponsored by the white matter brain cancer trust to travel to Kaikoura and spend what turned out to be a wonderful and the last full family gathering. Memories were made forever and this year I want to raise money to give back by completing an actual half marathon in the Auckland Marathon at the end of October. This is no mean feat as I’m a big fellow but have started training and with the determination my father showed, I will achieve this with your help for this trust.
