Hannah's mum had great support from local Canterbury charity Shocking Pink, Hannah wants to give back to the charity that helped her Mum.

Hi my name is Hannah, I would like to shave my hair for Shocking Pink. Last year my Mum had breast cancer. She went to hospital for a very long time and I missed her heaps. I thought it would be a great way to raise money and awareness about Breast cancer by shaving my hair for a good cause.

This is Hannah's original message about why she's doing this: Hi my name is Hannah, I would like to shave my hair for Shocking Pink... I will tell you a little bit about why I would like to do this..... Last year my Mum had breast cancer... She went to hospital for a very long time and I missed her heaps.. I thought it would be a great way to raise money and awareness about Breast cancer by shaving my hair for a good cause.. I also would like to donate my hair so it can be made into wigs for people without hair due to cancer ..... I know I'm only 9 but this means a lot to me and I really want to help.
