Harky Runs for the Heli

As a St John Intensive Care Paramedic who is part of the Lowe Corporation Hawkes Bay Rescue Hellicopter crew, I see first hand what an invaluable and important resource it is to our local community. Be it attending a rural farm accident, a car accident on one of our state highways or a winch rescue in the ranges, the Rescue Helicopter is always on hand to transport the patient to hospital far quicker than a road ambulance could achieve. This time saving can often be the difference between life and death. The Rescue Helicopter is also incredibly expensive to operate and maintain.

On May 14th 2016 I have decided to run the Hawkes Bay Marathon (42.2km) and raise funds for this important service. Please support me in my quest by donating even a few of your hard earned dollars, every little bit helps. Thank you.
