Thank you once again for your generous donations to our Liberate the Lane campaign. Over $15,000 was raised towards sharing the vision for a joyous, inclusive, climate-friendly supercity to thousands more people. It's already making an impact - buses which cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge every single day are sharing the message until mid March 2024!

Since 1998, Bike Auckland has making it easier for people to get from A to B by bike! Here are a few special wins in recent years:
Tāmaki Drive: with our advocacy and the power of the bike community, the design became a consistent, separated cycleway with a footpath alongside!
Inclusive Cycling Campaign: Disabled people do cycle, and a bike can be a mobility aid for some. Over 2023 we reduced barriers to cycling for people who require different kinds of bikes. We continue to advocate for accessibility improvements!
There are heaps of opportunities to make it easier for Tāmaki Makaurau to get moving - on all kinds of bikes - and we’ll be pushing for so much more.
For Liberate the Lane, we continue to advocate for people to freely walk, scoot, cycle and roll across te Waitematā – saving time and money, and breathing in the stunning view across the water!
