A trip to the day unit at hospital yesturday and Rhys was right in there helping Corlan stay calm during tests. Rhys was a great distraction and helped the day go smoothly.
Always a tough appointment for Corlan..........the Dentist!!!! This was definitely Corlans best trip to the Dentist yet. He spoke to the staff for the first time and Rhy sat and waited for him patiently.
Got to go on the Gondola today. Corlan was super anxious and thought he was going to faint, but he sat with Rhys, patted him and took deep breaths. They both did soo well and the staff at the Christchurch Gondola were amazing!
Just wanted to say thank you to all those who have donated. We are incredibly grateful. Here's a wee update showing Rhys sitting with Corlan at his Hospitol appointment recently, keeping Corlan calm and being a great support. They both loved the Fish tank 🙂

It's been a number of mo ths since Rhys arrived and all is going well. Corlan loves Rhys soo much and is learning so much from him. Unfortunately we have yet to meet our goal of $20,000 but we're close. Fundraising didnt feel right during Covid but now that the world is going back to a new 'normal' it's time to reach our goal. Rhys was soo good with corlan during lockdown, we all spent alot of time together and went on more walks then ever, which was fantastic for Corlan. We are so very lucky to have Rhys, what a patient, chillout dude he is, just what Corlan needs.
Rhys has arrived!!! He has been with us for approx 9-10 weeks. What a difference he has made to our everyday lives. Rhys is super chilled and Amazing with Corlan, he has made us very happy. It is easier to do some of the everyday things we used to struggle with, like groceries, dr appointments etc. Corlan loves going to the dog park with Rhys and runs around the park. It is great to get Corlan out of the house more. We are very excited to see more positive changes as time goes by.
