Participating in Kiwis Run for South Sudan
Auckland
Some amazing friends of ours have spent 8 years living and working in South Sudan, and have been involved with a wonderful organisation that is bringing hope, safe drinking water and health training into many villages.
Together, a group of us are attempting to run the length of New Zealand on 15th November (1600km, so a lot of laps of a 2km track!!)
I’m not much of a runner, the furthest I’ve run is 6km! But I’ll be trying to run at least 20km during the day, all in the name of training health care workers, bringing safe water, and hope and life to the 100villages on the waiting list for this brilliant programme.
There have been some really generous pledges to match donations up to 25,000 dollars, so for every dollar we are able to raise, 2 go to South Sudan.
I’d love it so much if you’re able to help support this amazing work! And would love to chat to you about it if you’re interested in getting involved!
Thank you so much
Matt
Collectively we are walking/running 1600km (length of NZ) to bring clean water & health care to the people of South Sudan!
