We need your help to give a voice to Kiwi kids with Down syndrome!
Olivia is a beautiful five-year-old from Hamilton living with Down syndrome. She wants your help to give other Kiwi kids the gift of speech!
Since she was two, Olivia has been doing speech and language therapy to help her learn to communicate thanks to the UpsideDowns Education Trust. It’s a great charity that provides speech and language therapy for any Kiwi kid with Down syndrome, to help them learn to speak, read, write, and have a great life.
Thanks to the communication skills she’s learned with her amazing therapist, Melva, Olivia has been able to begin mainstream primary school with her peers and is making great strides in her learning and social development. This is something many kids with Down syndrome will miss out on if they can’t afford speech and language therapy, which is sadly not funded by the government.
UpsideDowns supports more than 330 kids around New Zealand, with more than 30 children currently on the waitlist to start therapy. We’re helping raise money for UpsideDowns so that all children with Down syndrome can access the support they need to thrive.
Please help us give a voice to all Kiwi kids with Down syndrome.
