I would like to take this opportunity to say another thank you for what you are doing. We are very grateful here at St Vincent de Paul. Your generosity will go a long way in supporting those who have been affected by the COVID19 lockdown due to job losses and reduced hours and also those who endure poverty and food insecurity on a day to day basis. Your contribution allows our foodbank teams to continue to work at the coalface assisting those in need. To date as of last week we have been able to respond 11,300 referrals for food support.
Whatever amount we raise will never be enough to address the needs of this cause. I thought the initial goal was impossible. But the support I have received is proving me wrong. To all those supporting me, you are amazing. THANK YOU.
WE, are so close to the initial target, so why not push ourselves and increase the goal amount. It is all for a very deserving cause.
