Henderson shuffle runner raises money for toy library

Look. Me coming 1st place aside. Your donations are a massive contribution to the cause, the cause of affording new toys for the toy library ! It’s either that or for a new building ! And that’s so cool. Imagine, a bluey toy costs $50 to $100. Well now your donation has just paid for that toy, now that toy belongs to the toy library, and all the families who’s children love bluey, can come to the toy library and borrow it for years to come. I don’t know how that makes you feel, but that makes me feel warm in my heart. It’s also a bit more meaningful than that. When we consider the benefit to the environment , well what does that mean ? It’s simple. Imagine all the toys families buy and throw away on a global scale. But now imagine how much less toys get thrown away, because the toys just get returned to the library and borrowed by another family. It never goes out of style and someone is always spoilt for choice. So really. Your donations are big help. To the community. To the children. To the coming together of families who enjoy the toy library services. And yeah, I think you get it. It was a super special run, a great culture. With a lot of families who also use the toy library, and all your donations only make people more happy. So I hope you feel what you’re reading, because it really matters. Thanks for that. Cheers. Next run… Movember. 200km in 24 hours. Going for the handle bar mustache and side burns. Easy.
