I feel so blessed and through gratitude I am taking on this challenge to raise funds for St. Johns ambulance service.
Bay of Plenty
I first hiked up Mauao on the 26th of October 2020 after living in Tauranga for nearly 5 years! I always lacked the confidence and believed that I was not capable to conquer the mountain. I made a life changing decision and embarked on a journey to change my lifestyle from being morbidly obese to one of health and fitness. I have lost an astronomical 38kgs in just under 5 months. I try and get up Mauao as many times I can each week.
Hiking up Mauao is a truly spiritual experience for me. Every time I hike up, I become so aware of God's goodness in my life and all the blessings I receive every single day. My life's journey has by no means been easy but through perseverance and faith I am reaching the top.
I feel so blessed and through gratitude I am taking on this challenge to raise funds for an incredible organisation such as St. Johns ambulance service. They give so much to communities all across Aotearoa and I feel privileged to raise funds for them. I hope my friends and everyone reading this will cheer me on and donate to this worthy cause. Remember, you not just offering me your love and support but also contribute to an amazing cause!
