Hospice Ride For Michele

On the 28th November 2026 I will be participating in the 100km Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge. My family have recently experienced the devastating loss of my wife, Michele, whom was also a beloved mother, sister, aunty and grandmother. She fought a very rigged and brutal battle with brain cancer with everything she had - chest forward, shoulders back. An absolute legend in her own right. When the level of care Michele needed demanded more than we could offer, Hospice didn’t miss a beat. They showed up at our door and gave us absolutely everything they had to help provide the best care possible when we weren’t able (or qualified). Their service gave us peace of mind and offered Michele comfort right when she needed it. Their level of care is unmatched and we truly can’t express our gratitude enough for what they did for our family.
