I have thought about this for some time, and having had people close to me deal with both brain tumour cancer and other forms of cancers I have always wanted to show my support in some way. I never really had the courage to do it, until now. A friend of mine who started the Brain Tumour Support NZ Foundation - Mandy recently told me she was in her third round of chemo. It hit me that losing hair isn’t a choice for some. So here we are.
Brain Tumour Support NZ was formed in 2019 in response to the severe lack of information and support for brain tumour patients and their families in New Zealand. Every year around 355 New Zealanders are diagnosed with a primary malignant brain tumour.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young people under the age of 40.
My goal is to raise anywhere near 10k
Please help me raise as much as we can to give to this foundation.
