Nathan's marathon frIndia

$4,500 of $4,200 goal
Given by 43 generous donors in 8 weeks

Nathan's going to run a marathon. Sponsor me to help World Vision fight the spread of C19 and its impact on India's poorest.

Nelson / Tasman

Covid 19, what a filthy bugger! In New Zealand the shutdown has massively impinged on our lifestyles, it's been crippling for Kiwi businesses and has led to thousands of people losing their jobs.

India, like NZ has locked down to prevent the spread of the virus. Our situations are the same, and also very, very different. Social distancing is hugely difficult for millions of Indian's who live in small rooms and share bathrooms with their neighbours. The poor also have no buffer in a time like this; no work means no food.

Corona Virus spreading through Indian slums, millions going hungry. Rough. But what can we do right?

You can support Nathan's marathon frIndia!!

I have been training for the Rotorua marathon on May 2nd. The marathon has been called off but I've decided to run 42 ks here in Nelson wan to get people to sponsor me. All funds will go to World Vision who are already helping mitigate C19 and the effects of the shutdown. https://www.worldvision.in/WaysToGive/emergency-relief.aspx#scrolltop

My hope is to get 42 people to sponsor me $100 each. $100 is enough to feed a family for a month. That'll raise $4200! (feeding 42 families).

So come on people. I'm going to run, you give and let's Unite against Covid 19 (Cheers Jacinda).
