Hunt for the Greatest Toilets: A CCNZ Fundraiser. Come with me to find which dunnies to despise and which bring delight!
Dunedin, Otago
Kia ora koutou!
My name is Jahman and I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2014 at 11 years old.
One thing that has always scared me about road trips is having an accident on the road, and I'm not talking about the car kind. Public toilets have a reputation for being dungy, scungy and all around bad.
So, I am going on a great adventure to experience the public toilets of New Zealand, with the hopes of crowning one the best bog!
Day eleven, twelve and thirteen: Wellington to Christchurch & Christchurch to Dunedin 🏠 30 October 2026
Another ferry crossing later and we were back onto Te Waipounamu. Better weather in the Marlborough region made for stunning views on the way to Christchurch.
Awaiting a special interview on Friday, I rested in Christchurch for two days, catching up on some needed sleep…
Friday rolled around and Seven Sharp interviewed me about the trip, an amazing opportunity to spread awareness of IBD. It was a privilege to work with their team! Immediately following filming, I was off! Home and my own bed were calling my name.
Despite the travel being complete, the cause is far from done. Around 40GB of toilet videos now clogs my camera roll, with its synthesis awaiting me. Great.
Energy drinks required to produce this content? Countless.
Despite the travel being done, there is more to come from the Hunt for Toilets! 👀
