Ian Flanagan Remembrance Charity Golf Day 2026

Queenstown, Otago

Give a Little Golf Day ⛳️💚

In November 2022, I lost my late husband, Ian, suddenly. The ripple effects across whānau, friends and everyone who knew Ian were huge.

I wanted to do something impactful that would honour Ian, and what better way to do that than through a day centred around a sport he loved.

Last year, we raised funds for I AM HOPE, and we’re incredibly proud to be supporting them again this year.

This year, we’re also bringing The Meningitis Foundation on board. Both charities hold a special place in what we’re trying to achieve — supporting people, raising awareness and making a genuine difference in our communities.

I AM HOPE is focused on positive societal attitudinal change around mental health, with prevention and early intervention at the heart of what they do. Their work provides young people with access to free counselling and, importantly, a connection to someone they can reach out to during what can be incredibly dark moments in their lives.

The Meningitis Foundation works to raise awareness and education around meningitis, while supporting individuals and whānau affected by this devastating disease.

The Give a Little Golf Day is about remembering Ian, celebrating the sport he loved, bringing our community together and using that connection to give back to causes that make a real difference.

Thank you for getting behind the day and helping us Give a Little. 💚⛳️
