The 1,000 Miler Event has the goal of students collectively running 1000 miles in less than 100 hours for The Key to Life Charitable Trust.
Auckland
I am a student at Auckland Grammar School and between 12-16 April I will be taking part in the AGS 1,000 Miler Event. The 1,000 Miler Charity Event is aimed at raising money for Mike King's charity: The Key to Life Charitable Trust. This charity is focussed on changing how we perceive and act in regards to mental health and mental well-being.
Between 12-16 April I will be running with other students between 4.00 p.m. and midnight in a relay fashion. My contribution will help us fulfil the wider aim of running 1,000 Miles in less than 100 hours. Approximately 100 students in total will be running as a part of the 1000 Miler, ranging from 3rd Form to 7th Form.
This event occurs once every four years and this year is part of Auckland Grammar School's 150th Anniversary.
This is an opportunity to support a cause in The Key to Life Charitable Trust that is focussed around creating positive change in New Zealander's attitudes towards mental health and mental well-being.
Between 12-16 April, I will be taking part in the 1,000 Miler relay raising funds for Mike King's charity: The Key to Life Charitable Trust. I will be running between 4.00 p.m. to midnight over the four and a half days.
