It's Shearing Season

I've decided to get a summer cut and donate to charity at the same time again!

I'm giving to the Cancer Society Waikato branch because cancer sucks and it often feels pretty indescriminate, so I want to be indescriminate charitable and not just pick one type.

I'm also donating to Diabetes NZ because there's a couple of people in my family with diabetes and while it's manageable, it still kind of sucks and it would be cool if everyone who had it could have a funded continuous blood glucose meter and an insulin pump. Better yet, close the loop. Let's make it more of a glasses/prosthetic situation.

Or, you know, figure out why they happen and fix that. That would be cool too.

I'll hopefully organise a wee filming and post this up on my facebook so people can see.

I know it's the Silly Season, so I understand it's a pretty silly time for it, but any amount is appreciated.
