Jack and Max -Marathon Men

Myself and Max have decided to go the big lift and try to run a marathon in under 4 hours. We thought for a bit of extra motivation we should start a give a little page to try and make our efforts mean something. Ourselves not being strangers to alcohol and the harm it can cause, we figured it would be a good opportunity to raise some money for an organisation that is on the frontlines helping people through any alcohol or drug abuse they face.

Odyssey House has been providing drug and alcohol treatment services in Christchurch for over 30 years and supports individuals, family and community affected by addiction. They provide a whole range of services from individual counselling to community rehab groups and city wide initiatives offering support to all those impacted by drugs and alcohol addiction. Having spent some time with the people at Odyssey house myself, it is easy to see the good they are doing in our community and are the type of people I want to get behind.
