Helping those who need the support to speak up and be heard.
Auckland
Kia Ora Everyone!!! In 6 weeks time, your boy will be making his debut in the Frontline Services Fight Night in August, training like a boxer and raising funds for Gumboot Friday and Baby Loss NZ. Then I'll be putting everything to the test, stepping into the ring. #standandbang
The reason I've chosen Gumboot Friday and Baby Loss NZ is because they've been such necessary organization's and resources for not just those around me but many more other kiwi's in Aotearoa.
Gumboot Friday provides confidential support from qualified counsellors and trained volunteer's to help young New Zealanders in distress.
Baby Loss NZ provides support to parents and their families who have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy and also parents facing the difficult decision following a poor prognosis.
I'm raising money for them both so that I can hopefully return some of the favour they did to those around me, as well as afford more people in New Zealand the same access to that support.
Boxing has been a great physical and mental challenge so it's only fitting that this fight night and raising money for these two great charities go hand in hand with each other. It would mean so much if y'all could get amongst the journey and help donate to these two amazing organization's!
Promise I'll make y'all proud.
