I am throwing myself into the boxing ring to fight for Camp Quality in the OUSA Charity Fight Night. Please show me some support!
Otago
On the 13th of July, I'm going head-to-head against my opponent Abbie in the OUSA Charity Fight Night. As part of the event, I'm seeking sponsorship to raise money for Camp Quality so that this incredible organisation can keep putting smiles on the faces of kids who do not always have the chance to "just be kids."
Camp Quality is a children's cancer charity that provides support through a week-long retreat for children aged 5 to 16 living with cancer.
In 2016, I volunteered with Camp Quality on one of their camps as a companion, providing company and support to a newfound 14-year-old friend of mine. I was inspired by the smiles that they put on the kids' faces, allowing the children to escape from the burden of their illness.
The fight night will be on the 13th of July - so keep an eye out for tickets from the OUSA! Thanks so much for all the support in advance, every cent is worth it for these guys.
I volunteered with Camp Quality on one of their week long camps as a companion, and I was inspired by the amount of smiles that they put on all of the kids' faces. Each kid attending camp either has cancer, had cancer, or is a sibling of a kid with cancer, so they do not always get the opportunity to "just be kids."
