I'll be raising funds for the Waipuna Hospice to provide specialist medical care and support services to patients and their families.
Bay of Plenty
I'm challenging myself to climb the Mount 38 times over 50 days for Waipuna Hospice who provide specialist medical care and support services to patients living with a chronic, life-limiting illness, and their families.
Their geographical area covers Waihi Beach to Paengaroa and their services are provided seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
You will often hear the term palliative care which means alleviating without curing. Hospice specializes in providing palliative care – symptom control and pain management where cure is no longer an option. They also offer support services to patients and their support networks whether this be family/whanau, friends, neighbours, or staff at rest homes and hospital.
This is the third year I'm challenging myself for another great cause.
So please join me in climbing the mount OR you can make a donation to my fundraising account and share my page with your friends and family too.

Day 1 - climb 1 & 2 10 February 2018
Woke up to a wet morning and decided to climb the mount anyway. Arrived to a misty Mount without any rain and although I was struggling a bit today during my climbs I still achieved the two climbs I planned for today.
1st climb was quiet and the second climb had many more parents and children getting out.
2 Climbs down with 36 more to go.
The Mount Everest Challenge is back! Join us and Climb the Mount 38 times in 50 days to raise money for Waipuna Hospice.
