Jeremy and Eric ride Tour Aotearoa (on Raleigh 20s)
Please support/follow the insanity/laugh at the silliness of the Raleigh Rally 2020 by giving generously to Christchurch City Mission!
CanterburyJeremy and Eric are two friends who have worked together and ridden mountain bikes together for a number of years. Without any particular experience in endurance events or very much forethought, with a relaxed training regime and a lot of optimism, they're riding the Tour Aotearoa on their Raleigh 20 bicycles. Aren’t they kids bikes, you ask? Well who knows, really..
Starting at Cape Reinga at 7am on 17 Feb (to catch the low tide on 90 Mile Beach), they aim to make their way 3000km all the way south to Bluff without breaking down emotionally, physically, or mechanically.
We’re raising money for Christchurch City Mission, a charity that does incredible work for underprivileged people in Christchurch. If you’d like to support us and make our insanity worthwhile, please give generously to City Mission. Every dollar helps them provide support for people who really need it.
Mel Bird's involvement (page creator)
While these two merrily choose to sleep rough while riding the length of the country, they are aware of all those without the ability to make such choices. We'd love to add support for those who provide options for people when they really need them.
