Fundraising for Cats Protection Wellington, and cats like Jeremy!
Wellington
In August 2006, a tiny wild kitten named Jeremy arrived at the Cats Protection Wellington whare. Nearly 20 years later, Jeremy is still at CPW and has recently celebrated his 20th birthday!
Jeremy is a true example of what makes CPW such a special place. Jeremy truly is the heart and soul of CPW. Over the years, he has formed countless bonds with volunteers and become a much-loved fixture of CPW. If you know CPW, you know Jeremy.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, from 7–27 June (20 days!), I'm taking on a few challenges inspired by the number 20 to support the people and charity who have made Jeremy's remarkable life possible. I'm going to:
• Take $20, multiply it by 20, and use it to kick-start this fundraiser
• Donate 20 cans of food to the CPW shelter
• Run 20km (+1 for good measure!) at the Wellington Marathon on 28 June
I'd be absolutely stoked if you'd like to join Jeremy's 20th birthday celebrations. Whether it's a $20 donation, 20 cans of food, or simply sharing this fundraiser, every bit of support makes a difference.
Miracles happen at Cats Protection Wellington, and Jeremy's life is living proof of that. By supporting CPW, you're helping them continue to provide care, safety, and second chances to cats throughout Wellington—creating more stories like Jeremy's and helping countless felines find the love, luck, and homes they deserve.
