Our Tamariki face many obstacles in this ever-changing world so we are inviting people from across the region to drop for youth.
Canterbury
The Graeme Dingle Foundation run school-based programmes working alongside young people in our most vulnerable communities. The proven programmes are sequenced to create a positive vehicle for change for young people aged 5 to 18 years old. This is what they call the 'Transformational Journey' – a journey that helps our young people become more confident and resilient, find purpose and direction to achieve success. All proceeds will go towards the three school-based programmes - Kiwi Can, Stars and Project K
Kiwi Can works closely with South School and has huge impacts on our tamariki in our community. Many children are brought up with adversity in their lives. These programs build these children up and teach them many valuable lessons.
I believe it's important to be pushed out of your comfort zone so this is the perfect opportunity to do so. As well as raising funds for a worthwhile cause.
Thank you to everyone who is able to support me and the Graeme Dingle Foundation.
I want every child to know that what you have on the inside is greater than any obstacle.
Event Update 1 April 2020
Unfortunately due to the Covid19 shutdown, we have had to postpone Drop for Youth. We have locked in Saturday 17th October when hopefully everything has settled down and the weather is warmer.
Please know that we will still be going ahead with the skydive event and we just ask for your patience as we all band together and unite to protect ourselves, families, friends and communities at this time.
Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to October.
