Participating in Napier to Wellington 50cc Scooter Challenge 2024
Hawke's Bay
Having been made so welcome since coming to this beautiful country I thought it would be decent to participate and maybe even raise a little cash for good causes.
Ok so a 350km ride on a 50cc scooter may not quite be equivalent to the proclaimers walking 500 miles. However an 8-9 hour ride on a dishevelled old scooter must be worthy!
The steed is in a sorry state having completed the challenge last year, however with a little TLC I’m sure she will perform admirably!
Any funds raised will go to the jolly good chaps foundation who help good causes across the Hawke’s Bay region.

I made it!
What a fabulous event and an awesome ride albeit slow.
There were so many awesome people involved and that’s truly what made the challenge special.
Thanks to everyone who donated or supported in some way.
