    A delivery for the Otago Hospice: Today is Friday, the last day of my five days paying it forward, and to finish the week I'm off shortly to deliver some goodies to the Otago Hospice in Dunedin. Such a tough time for families supporting loved ones at the end that I thought a small delivery (chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate rough) might be just the sugar serve they need to keep going. The cake is being delivered on a Spiderman plate (the only disposable plate I had!!) so maybe it will make someone smile a little too :) Happy Friday everyone!

    Plant a seed: Day four and I thought I'd ""pay it forward"" to 25 people... The kids and I dropped off a bag of yoghurt pottles, two packets of seeds (one broccoli one flower), and a bag of soil. The kids in Mr. 4's class at day care can all plant some seeds and when they sprout take them home and replant them in the garden. One day, I hope, they will then have either some broccoli to eat or lovely flowers growing.

    Lollies in the lift: Today I thought I would brighten up the day for the rest of the people in my office building. When they hop on the lift there are some lollies ""on display"" that they can help themselves to. OK, it's not health food but I don't think it would have the same ""feel good"" factor if I left some carrot sticks!! ;)

    The cake donation: On dropping the kids off at day care this morning I discovered that Mr. 4 was able to keep quiet about the cake delivery... until about mid-afternoon. Tehehe. It had the teachers rather puzzled where it came from but the puzzle was solved when he spilt the beans. They enjoyed it which was the goal, a nice start to the week for their lovely team :)

    I'm away to maybe help three people today... off to donate blood. Haven't done this since school (and that wasn't yesterday!!) but have been meaning to go again for a while now. Thought this gives me the perfect excuse.

    Day one of paying it forward: This morning the kids and I dropped a chocolate cake off to their day care, to say thanks to the teachers and staff just for being awesome. It was supposed to be anonymous but we'll see if Mr. 4 can keep that a secret!!
