Juliette's Memorial Fund for Totara Hospice🫶🏻💜

Juliette had an incredible passion for nursing and caring for people.

She touched many lives with her unwavering determination to help others, and to make them feel safe and understood. Juliette was a fighter and an advocator for the people- and she carried these values with her through to the very end.

After a 18 month battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer, Juliette was admitted to Totara Hospice in her final weeks. Here, she established intimate bonds with the staff and volunteers, who dedicated to her an excellent level of palliative care. Juliette felt so comfortable at Totara that she decided that the hospice would be her final resting place. Not only did they show her compassionate care in her in her final days, but also to us as a grieving family who have never experienced death.

Juliette fell in love with Totara Hospice, and informed us that one of her last wishes was to leave something behind for them. Henceforth, we have created this fundraiser for those who wish to donate in her honour. Not only does this aid those who made Juliette’s last weeks beautifully peaceful, but it also represents the area of her life in which she was most passionate.

We all remember Juliette as a warm-hearted and generous woman, and we are facilitating her final gift.
