Participating in Drop your Boss Sky Jump 2021
Auckland
Young people in NZ face some major obstacles: 45,000 students report being bullied each week, 250,000 lack a healthy level of self-confidence, and we have one of the highest youth suicide rates in the developed world. Many of our tamariki and rangatahi lack a sense of self-worth, a sense of purpose, and a sense of hope for the future. Since many do not believe in themselves, it is up to us to show that we believe in them.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation works with 26,000 young people across NZ. By instilling positive values such as integrity, respect and positive relationships, young people learn to make good life choices. By stepping outside their comfort zone to take on physical and mental challenges, young people develop the resilience and mental strength to overcome life’s obstacles. In the process, they develop a sense of self-worth, self-belief, and a sense of hope.
In recognition of the obstacles that our young people overcome on a daily basis, on October 20th I’ll be overcoming my own obstacle and jumping 192m off the Auckland Sky Tower. Please donate to this crucial cause, and support the Graeme Dingle Foundation in helping Kiwi tamariki to overcome life’s obstacles.
Thank you!
Drop Your Boss is back for 2022! 9 June 2022
After a year of postponed/cancelled Drop Your Boss events, we are happy to announce that Drop Your Boss is locked in for 2022! We wanted to say a huge thank you for being so patient and understanding with the multiple changes we have thrown your way over the past few months. We are very excited to have our new date of Thursday 15th September 2022 secured.
For those who have already donated to a Givealittle page from 2021, your money will be carried over to this year’s event. Thank you again for your support! We are hoping to make this year’s event the biggest one yet, so your donation has already made a huge impact.
If you have any questions, please contact dyb@dinglefoundation.org.nz, and someone from our team will be happy to help you.
Help us support Kiwi kids build resilience and mental fitness by plummeting 192- meters off a ledge for Drop your Boss 2021!
