Karts For Hope

On the 6th August 2023 Kartsport Auckland are running an "I Am Hope" race meeting. The purpose of this race meeting is to raise money for "I Am Hope" as well as raise awareness for mental health and associated issues.

About "I Am Hope"

I Am Hope and Gumboot Friday, Mike King’s charity, continue to provide free counselling and support for young people 25 years and under around NZ when they need it most.

Gumboot Friday is on a crusade to change the lives of our young people and we need your help to do so! It is costing over $500,000 a month to provide this free service and we still do not have any govt funding. 100% of the funding that goes to Gumboot Friday is used to pay for counselling sessions for our Tamariki.

The I Am Hope Foundation covers the administration of the counselling sessions provided through Gumboot Friday. We also provide our in school programmes through I Am Hope and other community initiatives as well as supporting inspiring young people in their mahi.

Changing the future of New Zealand is a community effort, we can not do it on our own and rely on the support of amazing people like you to support us.
