Kendall Fights For Radio Lollipop

I am currently training to participate in a charity boxing match raising money for Radio Lollipop Christchurch. This organisation involves providing care, comfort, play and entertainment to children in hospital. I have always had an interest for participating in a boxing match and this is a perfect opportunity as I get to raise money for a charity I am involved in.

Radio Lollipop believes in the healing power of play - providing smiles and laughter to children at a time when they need it most. Though some patients are short-stay, many have a recurring need for care and return repeatedly to hospital. Some who are terminally ill spend much of their short lives in hospital.

Being a part of this organisation is extremely rewarding not only for the children but also for myself, seeing the joy on a child's face is all it takes to forget about my own personal worries, especially at a time where they need a smile the most.

The 'blood, sweat and tears' will all be for the children
