My mates and I are running 50km to go towards chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) significantly impacts the lives of many in New Zealand. The disease often progresses silently, leading to serious complications if not detected and managed early. This can result in a reduced quality of life and the need for dialysis or transplantation. Early detection and management are critical, but many face a challenging journey. Your support can provide vital resources for those affected, improving their quality of life.
