I will be competing in the 12km City2Surf race and raising funds for the fallen volunteer firefighters families in their memory.

Hi everyone!

After running my first half marathon last year, I’ve recently decided to challenge myself again and run in the City2Surf race. However, I decided this time I’d like to dedicate this to a good cause, and raise some funds for the families of the recent fallen firefighters in Muriwai.

These causes are personal to me as I am a volunteer first responder myself, and have close friends volunteer for Fire and Emergency as well. Seeing first-hand the dedication volunteers have to helping their community, I was disheartened to hear of the recent losses of the volunteer firefighters, and the overwhelming and unexpected demand for emergency services with the recent floods.

Therefore, all donations will be split evenly to support these families and memory of Craig Stevens and Dave van Zwanenberg.

Please help me to support these families and show gratitude for their loved ones commitment. I’d greatly appreciate any donations made through my fundraiser, as I’m sure the families and emergency service community would too.
