Hi everyone
I'm lying in bed reflecting on why Brianna and I are fundraising. I've struggled a little following my surgery, been a few tears (but not many) as I keep reminding myself there's no obstacle you can't overcome! Thanks Graeme Dingle Foundation for this new saying of mine.
I remind myself there are children out there who need and deserve more then what they have. Attached is a photo of my son Isaac at Isleworth School on St Paddy's Day. The school ran a mufti day and the children were part of a parade which parents could go and watch. Unfortunately this was after surgery so I was unable to make it however this photo of Isaac was in the school newsletter.
Grateful I can provide my son an outfit for things like this and have the ability to give him those extra things in life. Forever mindful though that a LOT of children don't have these extra opportunities, let alone things like a full lunch at school. I'm so thankful I can provide these things for both of my children and they've always had what they need to live a reasonably comfortable life.
Sometimes love just isn't enough, children deserve and need more than just love.
I'm so grateful to all of you for helping us raise what we have raised so far. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I will do my best to film Brianna and her boyfriend Harley leaping off the Hanmer Bridge (or being pushed, let's see how brave they can be) or at least take a lot of photos for you all of the fear on their faces! Haha
