Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge - enabling access to an education through the gift of a bike.

    After setting this goal a year ago I felt a huge sense of achievement when crossing the line on Saturday and completed the ride in a time of 5hrs 14min. While it was challenging at times being able to focus myself on the bigger reason I was out there riding really did help.

    This journey has been so rewarding for me personally however the biggest accomplishment is that to date, with your support and generosity, we have managed to raise funds to purchase at least 57 Bikes - that means 57 children will be getting the gift of a bike to enable them to access an education - how incredible it that!

    The fundraising page is open for another 2 weeks so lets see if we can get to 60 bikes!

    I am trying to settle the nerves that have started to set in by reminding myself of the bigger reason I am doing this ride and in that sense, with your support, I already feel like I have succeeded.

    To date we have 42 Bikes to gift to children in Cambodia so they can pedal their way to school.
