Leighs' Amazing Raise Team - Supporting the Christchurch Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Leighs is fundraising for Maia Health Foundation and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

On Friday, 7 November, a Leighs team will participate in 'The Amazing Raise,' (https://www.maiahealth.org.nz/events/the-amazing-raise-2025) competing in challenges across Ōtautahi Christchurch to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
This cause is crucial for our community, and we're proud to support Māia Health Foundation in raising funds to make a real difference for our young people.
The Amazing Raise Team includes Rebecca Mitchell (Group Finance Manager), Mike Knowles (Regional Manager - South Island), Paul Dennis (Health and Safety National Manager), and Jess Massey (HR Manager) backed by a team of hundreds from across the motu.
How can you get involved? All the funds raised on this page will go directly to Māia Health Foundation and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Christchurch. 💚

"Taking part in the Amazing Raise with 'Leighs Lightning' was an awesome experience. It challenged us in all sorts of ways—quick thinking, teamwork, and plenty of physical effort! Especially the go-karts, where we were burning up the quarter mile and having a blast. But more than that, it reminded us why we were doing it. Thinking about the families who spend days, weeks, or even months in the NICU really puts things into perspective. It was a great mix of fun, connection, and purpose—and I’m proud we could support such an important cause."
