Lion, Healthy Hospo and the Hospitality Industry supporting Sea Cleaners

Auckland

This year, Healthy Hospo and Lion are running Round The Bays for a cause: To keep plastic pollution out of our waterways

As any runner or walker would know, rubbish in our streets is more than unsightly, it often ends up in our waterways including Auckland harbour. (energy gels are a growing culprit!)

Sea Cleaners have removed more than 20 million litres or 200 million + pieces of rubbish from our coast – which equates to nearly hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours.

Help us support their vision to preserve New Zealand's stunning coastline for the benefit of marine life and for the enjoyment of all.

Round the Bays 2026 = a guaranteed great time out with some epic humans all in support of a good cause.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
