With this givealittle page closing in TWO days, I wanted to provide an update on how the Christmas concert and fundraising endeavours went.

The concert on the 12th of December was a stellar success. All our performers did excellently on stage, bringing the audience beautiful music, touching words, and sometimes a little bit of laughter.

We sold over 90 tickets and the audience had a great time, and sang along beautifully during the Christmas Carols finale. I was so touched by the glowing feedback after the concert and it really reflected the work all of us had put in to create this special event for Auckland.

Combined with this Givealittle page, the net raised for Radio Lollipop to date is $2311. We are delighted with this fundraising success and how much joy and fun the charity will be able to give to children in hospital this year.

There are still two days left to donate via givealittle so please do spread the word! Thank you to all of you for your generosity this Christmas.

PS in the busy lead up to the concert, I forgot to post the rest of the “about the performers” so to give them all credit for their work, I will post those today and tomorrow. Thank you to all of them for their amazing performances.

Read about some of the performers in Tuesday's concert here! We are all incredibly excited to have the opportunity to perform and share our music and poetry with Auckland and use our talents for the greater good in raising funds for Radio Lollipop. Thank you to everyone who has supported the event so far!

Please buy your tickets on Eventbrite if you are able to come - 100% of money from tickets goes to Radio Lollipop New Zealand. Donating on Givealittle also goes straight to Radio Lollipop New Zealand if you'd like to support the cause but aren't able to join us in person.

We had a rehearsal on Monday and the performers blew me away with their beautiful music and poetry, I just know next Tuesday will be a stellar event. See the photos below for a sneak peek. It's so exciting to be able to fundraise for Radio Lollipop while also showcasing so much talent and beauty from the medical school and beyond.

I'll be posting performer bios and info over the next few days leading up to the concert, do keep an eye out.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported the Givealittle page and concert so far! I'm excited to announce that we have raised $220 through Givealittle and sold 17 concert tickets. I am so heartened by the support for my Radio Lollipop For Children In Hospital New Zealand fundraising efforts.

We have also finalised the concert programme and released it on the Eventbrite page to give our attendees a taste of what's to come!

The coming week will involve more promotions, practicing, and preparing for the concert, which is going to be a highlight of the year for myself and the other performers. If you've got a ticket, we can't wait to see you there!
