Waipu locals shaving heads to raise funds for Domain Lodge
Waipu, Northland
A group of Waipu locals have decided to shave our heads in sympathy with Helen Frances and thought that we would have more fun turning it into a fundraiser for the Cancer Society. Having to relocate to Auckland for treatment, is tough, but being able to stay at Domain Lodge as free accommodation has been a godsend - a real wrap around service run by very caring people. Therefore all monies raised will go to Domain Lodge. $120 will allow one person plus their carer to stay at the lodge for one night for free.
People shaving are - Sue Foster, Bronwyn Emson, Juanita McGoldrick, Susan Matthews, Richard Wilson, Eddie van Prehn and Tony Stroobant.

Our Give a Little page is going to close soon with over $9000 dollars raised for Domain Lodge. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, to the Waipu Lions for their generous contribution and to my fabulous friends and family who shaved their heads to keep me company in my chemo-baldness.
