Cochlear implants open up a whole new world for kids such as hearing birds singing, cats purring, improving their educational needs, etc.

Let's make it LOUD to make a difference for deaf Kiwi kids!
This is the fourth year in which in I am fundraising for The Hearing House. I am deaf and have a cochlear implant. I also have a hearing dog named Jimmy.
I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of The Hearing House and Southern Cochlear Implant Programme and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Loud Shirt Day 2019.
Loud Shirt Day is the annual fundraising appeal dedicated to raising money for deaf children with cochlear implants or hearing aids.
You can help by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate Now' button.

This September I’ll be wearing my loudest shirt and raising funds to help deaf children across New Zealand, who have cochlear implants and hearing aids, learn to listen and speak like their hearing peers.
