Lou’s truly biggest challenge yet

This year, I’ve set myself the challenge of riding the 150 km Tour of Selwyn in support of the Selwyn Sports Trust and the wonderful sports programmes they provide for our local primary school children.

I’ve always loved being active and pushing myself to see what I’m capable of. Usually, I take on challenges like this with my very good friend Neeny by my side. She has been my encourager and motivator, the one who pushes me to keep going when things get tough. But this year, Neeny will be away on holiday, so for the first time, I’ll be riding solo. It’s daunting but I’m committed and what keeps me motivated is the cause behind the ride. I feel passionate about giving tamariki the chance to access sporting opportunities, no matter what their background might be.
