Welcome to my page.
My pledge for this Wheelie Awesome August Wheel-a-thon is to bike 200k for the month of August.
I work for an amazing organisation called Conductive Education Canterbury. My motivation is the babies, children and their families who attend Conductive Education Canterbury (CEC). All parents have dreams and aspiration's for their children's lives so when faced with the additional challenges through either prematurity and/or disability, having an organisation such as CEC walking alongside them as they navigate these early years is vital.
CEC has a shortfall every year of around 40k so we have decided to fundraise & build a house for adults with disabilities where they will learn the skills to live independently. The rent from the house will cover the shortfall at CEC, how good is that its a win, win! Young adults learning to live independently while support babies and children with additional needs.
