The goal is to establish a high visibility area in Lyttelton Harbour for open water swimmers.
Canterbury
Dan Abel of Fit&Abel.com has been working closely with Environment Canterbury’s Regional Harbour Master, Surf Life Saving New Zealand and the Lyttelton-Mt Herbert Community Board to establish a set of swim buoys in Lyttelton Harbour. This project is called the 'Swim Advisory'.
To help make this open water swim safety initiative a reality we need your support. We are raising money to purchase the x6 high visibility orange Ocean Swim Buoys that will make up the Swim Advisory.
Open water specialist Dan Abel is a passionate advocate of open water safety. He has been working closely with the other members of the swim advisory group in order to make Lyttelton harbour safer for all water users.
