Update for 01/12/2014
1 December 2014We did it! Our official time on the Speights West Coaster website is 9:22:31. It was a challenging but awesome day. Nicole & Carla got us off to an amazing start with a great time on the longest leg of the race. Then Krystina and Natalia conquered a massive set of stairs to complete leg 2. In leg 3, Lorna & Andrea waded through mud and water in Goldie's Bush before handing the baton to Jonelle and Carole who brought us home despite having to manoeuvre some terrifying heights. The team could not have done it without the epic support of Barbs and Debbie - the exceptional road crew - that kept us fed, watered and smiling! We are trying to upload some photos for you all so you can share our day. Thanks to all the people who have donated - we are keeping the 'lines open' for a few weeks to see if we can get closer to our target. What a massive effort to have raised almost $3000 so far for these two great charities. We are going to soak our legs and contemplate whether we want to set another challenge for next year!
