Madeline dances for dollars

On June 9, 2016, I am going to be competing in Dancing with the Stars charity edition and I am trying to raise a minimum of $1000 sponsorship for my part in the event.

Dancing with the Stars fundraising edition is a mock version of the TV show, run by Home & Family. My partner and I will be one of 15 couples competing before a voting audience of 700 people, and a panel of judges.

Funds go to support Home & Family, a social, not for profit agency within Christchurch which has run for over 100 years. Home & Family provides counselling and trauma therapy, with 50% of this being for children as young as 3 years old.

Home & Family also run a residential program in Barrington where families, referred by CYF’s, who are at risk of the children being removed, are placed in the program to live under 24/7 supervision. While in the program, the family receives intensive parenting intervention and training to try and rebuild the family to enable them to continue having the children in their care. Home & Family also run parenting courses for families not on the intensive program and provide emergency refuge for families in desperate situations.

I would love your support as embark on this endeavour. Any sponsorship is welcome! As per the competition requirements, if you would like your company logo displayed at the event, a minimum sponsorship of $250.00 is requested.
