Donate to provide hope for Kiwis struggling with Mental Health issues (and support us in running RTB 2020).
Auckland
Madeline B-W and Amy Sparks have decided to run the 8.4km Round The Bays fun run on 8 March 2020 to raise funds for Auckland-based charity, Voices Of Hope (VOH), to carry out their life-saving work.
VOH tackle the mental health crisis in New Zealand, providing hope for those struggling with mental health issues by promoting mental well-being, empowerment and recovery. To do so, they need our support! If you donate, you'll be helping Voices of Hope to keep saving lives.
ABOUT US - AN UNLIKELY RUNNING DUO
AMY started running in early 2019 and is already a running superstar, having completed the full Queenstown Marathon, as well as three half marathons! She's going to see how fast she can complete the course.
MADS is a complete beginner to running, having started from scratch in late November. She's become a little obsessed with it, and while she'd LOVE to be faster, given current abilities she'd be super stoked with anything near the 6:15/km average pace mark.
I'm running Round The Bays 2020 to raise funds for Voices Of Hope.
WE DID IT! 8 March 2020
We ran Round The Bays 2020 and exceeded our goal, raising $2,100 for Voices of Hope and mental health. Honestly so humbled by the amount of support we received from our family and friends, as well as my employer ASB, who are fronting $750. I also exceeded my pace goal will an avg pace of 6:10 per km so am stoked!!
